Video Description
Nomenclature is the devising or choosing of names for things (Google).
One of the unsung heroes of HubSpot is nomenclature. This video explains an example of how to use a strategic nomenclature - which should be kept consistent to keep your data from getting lost within your CRM.
Nomenclature tips
- The sooner you start implementing a strategic nomenclature in your HubSpot, the better. This will save you from hours of sifting through all of your data to reorganize in the future.
- Use a nomenclature across all asset types in HubSpot - by doing so, it'll make it much easier to find the assets you're looking for.
- When using a nomenclature for campaigns, all the assets tied to that campaign should follow the same nomenclature, and should include the name of the campaign.
